(no subject)
Today, if I ever get off the internet, I will begin making the hat for my coworker who is due in Dec. She bought yarn and said, I want a harf for the baby. OK. That's easy.
Went online to: http://www.marblesthebrainstore.com/ as I want a new game. I purchased Pathagon (http://www.marblesthebrainstore.com/pathagon) as it looks like a spatial puzzle that I could actually do. I love things like this. They have another one I like but it's even more expensive. Maybe later. The other I purchased is Mind Trap (http://www.marblesthebrainstore.com/mindtrap-20th-anniversary-edition) one of these makes you think games. I might be able to also play it as a single player but if nothing else, I can drag it up to JKLs. I bought a book, too, because I just don't have enough of them. It's about "retro language" - things like "lollapoloozer" and such old slang terms. I love things like that... because I'm a nerd like that.
Eek needs a new windshield. Geez. Nearly $800 for tires, just under $50 for the inspection and now $250 for a windshield. This damned car is breaking me. (If you include the engine overhaul earlier this year.) Once it's paid off, and if it is still costing me like this, I'm getting rid of it. It's a good car as far as driving, comfort and so on but the maintenance is brutal. The windshield has a crack about the size of a quarter from a rock strike. It's not in my field of vision but if it gets worse, it'll be trouble. :S Hopefully, the last thing it will need is insurance for the year. :P
Not much else going on here. The whole eastern seaboard is freaking out over Hurricane Sandy. Over the summer, in the Pacific, there was a Cyclone Paul. I guess someone has it in for my parents. *Shrugs*
