My cousin, Sarah, posted this (technically cousin-in-law but what's the difference) on her FaceBook.

Joe = my cousin, Bessie's son, she was killed the same day as my mom
Jakey = Joe and Sarah's two year old son
Grandma = Bessie
Sandy = my mom
So...this one is for family...Joe just informed me that Jakey opened up the living room closet again...which he ( Read more... )

Keep in mind that this kid never has met Grandma or Sandy. How the heck did he even know about them? I mean, it's not like my mom's name comes up in conversation all the time. Awesome.

it's always interesting with kids come up with these encounters. It always seems like better evidence

When my aunt Lucy committed suicide, her granddaughter ANV was only a year old. My cousin would go to the grave site everyday for a while... and caught ANV off to the side of the cemetery talking to gramma. They stopped going after that.

My mom's side of the family were very interested in the paranormal. Have I sent you the seance story? That's a good one. My uncle Billy was the first to pass (cardiac arrest at 48 years old) and had always said that if he could come back, he would... and did. Sneaky little bastard. >:D I have heard my mom call my name recently. This was when I was awake, too, not half asleep or going to sleep. I love that. I always smile.

My uncle Billy had a heart attack and died. His wife, Sam, kept getting messages on her answering machine. Basically, the phone would ring, the message on the machine would play and then dial tone. Only happened when Sam was talking about Billy and crying.

Catholics don't believe in ghosts, do they? Isn't that some tennant they have to believe?

I have no idea really if that's part of the Catholic faith Mom stopped because Dad doesn't allow for belief in ghosts
