(no subject)
Work was f'ing nuts. I had 16 patients, to pH a bag of platelets (as I still haven't had training on the PDG test) and all of the maintenance to do. Lots of sick people, several with GI problems - one is REALLY bad: diverticulitis with puncture. Eeewww.
I'm still depressed as all hell.
I think I am mostly finished with my Christmas shopping. I have one item left to make/draw. I have no idea what to get my Dad. I ordered two books from Amazon.com for myself as gifts so I may let him read them first. I don't know if he would be interested in the medical case history of Adolf Hitler but the one about the Einsatzgruppen (forgive my attempt at German, I've had no real training in that language) he might read.
In other news, I'm still hooking. One of the hats I made for the charity is really cute so now I want one. I'm working it up in a chunky yarn - yes it's purple, shuddap - and it's going pretty quick. I may go back to making a more scarves and hats for charity once I finish this one.
