The US Post Office is selling sheets of stamps that support wildlife conservation efforts to save tigers. Yeah, I bought one. <3 Tigers.

Yarn Shop: Was open. Nice ladies there. Got several skeins of yarn. Not sure what I will do with any of it, really. Also bought a magazine. "Interweave Crochet" has a new editor who is about 30 years younger than the last one, and is much more hip. Hm. May get a subscription.

Came home. Crocheted on and finished scarf for the red hat set. Looks pretty good. I would call it a pimpin' mama set but ... not exactly holiday-friendly. Started a new hat, I think. Remember the "Charlie Brown Christmas" and Snoopy had on that long stocking cap? That's what I'm trying to make. Just want to use up the rest of that frizzy, static-ridden yarn.

Drew a comic for today. It's quite dark and twisted... but when I'm this depressed, I tend to use a lot of sick humor. This is a fine example of it. http://art-fumes.livejournal.com/ Whenever I'm really down, I draw a lot of Yule comics. He is my darker half, I guess. Also did two illustrations of my friends.

I recently asked MCH and JB (who totally need better nicknames) if they'd like for me to cartoon them. I asked them to pick out a critter and I'd draw them. JB is a Leo so he wanted to be a lion. He has always had short hair, which I could not figure out how to do on a lion - they have that big, heavy metal hairstyle. So I did a buzz cut type thing all the way around the head and face - it's SO cute! MCH wanted to be a melanistic leopard, a dark grey, almost black, leopard. I gave it her hairstyle, nose ring and glasses. Looks pretty close to the human version. Too bad I can't draw people worth a rat's ass. :S

Now I need a shower and to play some video games until I fall asleep. Back to work tonight. :P Whee.
