(no subject)
My cousin MRS just announced that he married his girlfriend/fiance this weekend. :D YAY! Nice to have new family. Her name is Isabelle. OMG. I totally love that name. She's also on my FaceBook and seems very nice - and she's drop dead gorgeous. I need to get a card ready to mail.
Things like that make me happy. I wish I could have been there... but they live in Los Angeles, CA, and I really do NOT like it out there. I would have gone to be with them had I been invited (I believe money is tight) but I'm kind of glad that I wasn't. I do want to meet Isabelle, though. :D YAY!
I could bitch and moan about work but I don't want to do that. This is going to be a frustrating week. I know that. I accept it. However, I do NOT have to like it. I just have to deal with it and do the best I can. I need to keep repeating that last sentence over and over.
I want to do an illustration of Rain as Dorothy Gale from "The Wizard of Oz". I am looking through Google images at pictures to use as drawing references. I think it is a bad sign that, when I see a still from the film, I can recite the dialogue for that scene from memory. Of course, knowing that Dorothy's last name is Gale probably should have been the first warning. LOL. I have an aunt Dorothy, BTW. She was a total tomboy until TWoO came out. Then she began to skip and be frilly like Dorothy Gale. When I was little, I wanted to be a Munchkin. However, when "Return of the Jedi" was released, I wanted to be an Ewok. Odd that I grew up to be 5'8", isn't it?
