Stamping club was ok. MF showed us how to do stencil paste. I learned that I suck when using that. I'm stencil paste challenged. That being said, it was still fun. Apparently the store isn't closing after all. Well, maybe. We aren't sure. I really do not like that the owners of the store are dicking us around like that. We have shopped there for years, basically keeping the place solvent, and they're not giving us any real finality so that we can make future plans. Pisses me off... and a few others in our group, some of whom are boycotting the meetings. Whatever.
I stopped at Joann Fabrics. They didn't have the glow in the dark embroidery floss I wanted. I did get two magazines and a packet of beading needles. The Dollar Store didn't have what I wanted for Dad's Father's Day gift. I know the hardware store has it so I'll pick it up over there. I need a new box cutter for work, too, and I'll get that there as well. Joann's didn't have that either.
I received my packet of Anthrocon art show information. I only have two pieces so far. I feel a bit like a dork. I need to do a name badge. I may do a quick watercolor or find an old piece to sell, too. Gah! So much to do before the convention.... panic attack anyone?
I worked on my new con badge and drew a comic for today. Yes, I wrote all the limericks. I've done several in the comic strip actually.
