Pic Spam! WOOT!
Projects finished within the last 24 hours.
Scarf and Hat Set
Made from hand-spun, hand-dyed Alpaca wool that I purchased at the Fairy Festival. Despite Alpaca being very lightweight, it is extremely warm! This is also very, very soft.
"Sugar, Sugar" Artist Trading Card
Standard ATC size of 3.5" x 2.5" Bristol board with marker, watercolors and ink. The colors are actually glittery as they are that Twinkling H2O's type of paint.
And lastly, "Cadillac Belt".
This is one of the many things you can do with a "retired" seat belt. The belt material is a little difficult to sew through. I've learned to use a very sharp needle to be able to push my way through it. I don't know if any standard, home use sewing machine would sew through it. I know mine won't so I sew these by hand. I also have a few GM hasps for belts. I have looked through several Fords and Dodges but they never put their logo on the belts. :S
Today, I plan on cleaning in the art studio. If you don't hear from me in 24 hours, please send a search party. I'm probably under a pile of fabric or yarn and can't dig my way out. Thanks.
I may try to finish Crow's purse. I'm just not too enthused about the project so I'm dragging my feet on it. I should just finish it and be done with it. I have to clean first though. I promised Dad that I would get part of the basement tidied up. And, if I do that, then maybe I can go see
Catarzyna and visit that Lancaster Reuse place (a store that takes your donated craft items and sells them to raise money for charity).
