*Singing* Chinchiminy Chinchiminy Chinchiminy Chin Chin Chin Cheroo.
Here is the chinchilla tote!
Commissioned by "Strawberrypaw". It is of her boyfriend, "Skillet". (He has the copyright to the character; I hold the one to the artwork here.)
It is approximately 12" x 12". Made from primarily polar fleece and felt with some fun fur details. The strap is a seat belt I ripped out of a car at a junkyard; it is also adjustable.
From this experience, I have learned:
* I hate working with fun fur. It sheds worse than a real furred animal. It also flies through the air and lodges in one's nostrils for what seems like decades.
* I need a good thimble for my right middle finger. I have pokey holes in it currently and it is quite sore.
* The more tired I become, the more likely I am to stab myself with a needle. Go to bed after the first few, rather than continue stabbing yourself.
* Seat belts are AWESOME straps!
* I need to make me one of these things!!
To do for today:
- go to credit union and deposit a check
- finish my jellyfish purse
- begin Crow's "Day of the Dead" purse
- draw comic strip for tomorrow
- draw ATC for this month's exchange
