Separate post is separate.

Yesterday at work was kind of crazy. Very busy. I don't know what is going around, but something that causes "abdominal pain" is really hammering our area. Don't drink the water, I guess. At least people are validly sick. I hate people who come to the ER for stupid shit. Had a few crisis folks come in. One I have to give a credit to since he came in, told the doc he was on heroin and wanted off. He wanted detox and counseling. Don't know what brought that on but, more power to ya, dude! Good luck. :D

After work, I came home, watched TV, read and went to see Garden Fairy and her boyfriend. We met at Brown's Orchards for lunch. I bought some food and a few Xmas gifts/stocking stuffers. :) We chatted for a while. It was nice. Garden Fairy let slip that Bunny was wanting to get me two cats. Oh hell no! Bunny is thinking getting a cat would help me get over my loss. That's not going to happen. Cockleburr was not a cat that can be replaced. I tried that when I moved to WV and had my own place. That resulted in me having Ewok, the World's Stupidest Cat. Not again. He was also devoid of personality - except the stupid part. Not a good fit for a human who can't stand stupid humans. Also, Bunny is NOTORIOUS for choosing the most neurotic, sickest animals for pets. (Either that or she MAKES them neurotic.) Plus, it's just too soon. I don't think I could handle having a cat that isn't Cock.

Another reason to not get a cat immediately, is that I might want to move out in the next few years. Depending on where I move (condo vs. house vs. trailer vs. apartment) depends on if I can have a small pet. Or two. Heh. >:D

Today, I plan on sewing a hot pepper for my co-worker that is leaving. I also have a few cards to make. Depending on how the pepper turns out, I will post photos.

Oh! The Baking Experiment turned out mediocre. For you enjoyment, though, here it is:
Cheese Coated Garlic Bread
Take three cans of biscuits, cut each into quarters.
Roll pieces in mix of garlic POWDER (not salt!) and oregano.
Toss into baking pan. (I used a loaf pan but you could do the bunt cake thing if you wanted.)
Melt some butter, add garlic powder and oregano. Pour over bits in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from pan while still hot and cover in grated cheese (I used Mozzarella.)
Serve with a dipping sauce like pizza or spaghetti.

I didn't like it but KPH loved it. *Shrugs*

I have been doing artsy fartsy. I have been working on the octopus watercolor thing. It's about 11" x 17" so it will take a while. I have it all drawn out and inked (heh. Inked. It's an octopus. They squirt ink.) I am working on painting it now.

I have also been reading my book on Lenin, Stalin and Hitler. Whee. Yeah, I know. What the hell. I can't help it. I love history and dictators fascinate/scare me.
