A TL;DR entry shall be LJ Cut. However, you may click to read about my weekend.

Friday:
After work, I drove out to Catarzyna's over the river in Lancaster, PA. We exchanged Xmas gifts since we haven't seen each other in ages. She gave me a lovely necklace and a knitting book. :D I got to meet the new cat and play with him. He is psychotic. Nice to see that. :D We then ran a few errands and then hit Park City Mall. Build-A-Bear Workshop is furry porn. Good grief. I got a leopard and dressed him as an explorer in full safari gear - including a plastic pith helmet. I'm such a loser. We also went to Hot Topic where I got a couple of t-shirts. Over to AC Moore and I bought some yarn and a set of new knitting needles. At this time, we were both quite hungry so off to Rice & Noodles for lunch. :9 It's the Vietnamese restaurant near her place. I had the Pho Ap Chow again. My favorite. Anything with pineapples. :9 From there, we drove out into the country somewhere to PA. Fabric Outlet. OMG. It's a second hand shop for people who sew or upholster. I got a ton of buttons for $3, 8 zippers for $2, a stash of shoe laces (4 for 49 cents), a piece of foam for cheap (can't remember price) and some awesome antique buttons. OMG. Oh, and a huge zipper for $1.60. It was really neat! I didn't get home until around 1910 hours. I was exhausted. I sat in the living room with Dad and kept falling asleep in the easy chair.

Saturday:
This was rubber stamping club day. One of the girls is getting married so we had a mini-shower for her. :) Then we did a project which I didn't like but made anyway. (We decopauged plastic plates. Ugh. Mine got cracked in transit home so I chucked it in the trash.) Barb and I went to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays - as per our routine. We both got watermelon martinis. :9 When we got back to the store (club is held at a stamping store), we had a "retreat" which is where people get to work on their own projects instead of a group one. I did the comic strip (it's up already) and played with some fusible fibers stuff. About 2200 hours, we all packed up and went home. Back at the house, I made some cards and watched tv. The chairs at the stamp store are quite uncomfortable and my back hurts again. :S Not the searing, OMG, I'm Gonna Fall Over, type of pain but achy. :P

Whee.

Today, Sunday, is catch up on my email/internet (done) and then relax for a while. :D

friends, stampede, shopping, barb
