(no subject)
Ha HA!
Just got a call on the cel from the GI doc's office! I get to have another colonoscopy (yay. :l) on 0115.... which is during the time I was taking of in January anyway! How nice. Also, dammit, spell check! I know that colonoscopy is spelled correctly so shut up! I asked my MD to schedule the procedure through a doctor who participates with the hospital I work at so I should have a nice discount.
One thing that worries me though. The lady scheduling the appointment said my phys wanted me seen as soon as possible for this procedure. Scary. But, with as much "fun" as I'm having, what the hell. At least I'll find out sooner.
And, as a coworker pointed out, if the problem has a name, it more than likely has a treatment. :) Very comforting words. So I hope that I don't get some disease that is named after me. (Insert reference to Lou Gehrig here.) Isn't that a Steve Martin joke? The doctor said he had good news and bad news. The good news is that I get to have a disease named after me. Something like that.
Wow. Two posts in one work day and one isn't a LOLcat. I must be sick! (As opposed to weekends when it takes an act of God and possibly a fire to get me off line. HA!)
