Hey. *Yawns* I'm up.

Yesterday was nice, despite the cold weather and rain. Now, I love rain... but not in the cold. I'm already cold most of the time (low blood pressure) so making the weather cold and wet... thus making ME coldER and wet... unhappy me. :S Bleah.

Went over to HACC and picked up Garden Fairy. We jaunted over to her condo. OMG. She has a NICE place. I also got to play with her kittehs and goggie. :D Me happy! Her dog is a little black thing named Rufus. He was dear. I would have taken him but I had too much crap in my purse for him to fit. (Just kidding, GF!) I also got attention from Kitten, the male cat. She didn't name either of those two critters so you may forgive her, k? Kitten is bigger than the friggin' dog! He is so NOT a kitten. I bet he weighs around 15 pounds. His head is huge! His paws are at least three inches in diameter. He's just BIG - not fat, but BIG. Ginormous. The kind of cat that, were he to jump onto you from any height, he'd kill you. The two female cats are very small and timid, Birdie and Bella. The former is a tiny thing with fur as long as my hair and the other is an all black female version of Basement Cat. She curls her tail up so that it looks like a snail shell. It is SO cute! :D So, yeah. OK. I LIKE ANIMALS! Deal with it. Had Garden Fairy any kids, I would have said that they were fine and then STILL babbled about the animals. I'm just weird like that.

As to the Pho Bistro's food. Very good. HOT! For Garden Fairy: Bun Ga Nuong Sa = Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with veggies and rice vermicelli noodles. Comes with bean sprouts, lettuce, cucumber, peanuts and Nuoc Mani sauce. For me: Hu Tieu Mi Xao Ga = Stir-Fried Chicken with veggies and noodles. I ordered for both to be mild... and mine still almost set me on fire. I like spicy food, so yeah, it was good, but I couldn't eat it all. Of course, the portions were HUGE, too. I got to have some of Garden Fairy's and I liked it better. The chicken was crusted with crushed peanuts. :9 So, if we repeat this venture, I will get the Bun Ga Nuong Sa. However, the Bistro didn't have the Pho Ap Chow that I have been craving. I must pester Catarzyna for another knit/crochet lunch.

I dropped Garden Fairy off at HACC then went in to see Bunny, my old boss and good friend. We chatted about her cat, Sprout, and how he doesn't take well to other cats. Also, she says that she has to sedate him to take him to the vet's office. Uhm, ok. I didn't ask as to WHY the knock him out. I mean, if he just screams, that's typical cat behaviour. After all, Her Royal Majesty is QUITE the diva when she's in the car... as has every other cat that I have lived with. (You don't own a cat.) Matter of fact, Ewok used to climb all over me and my car while screaming. They're insane. But, at least she, her husband and Sprout are well.

On the way home, I stopped at Joann Fabrics and bought some foam to make a cushion for my office chair. Dad fixed the wheels so they no longer fall off or pop out. However, there is NO cushioning left on it (the chair is from when? *Thinks hard* 1993? Something like that). I did find what I wanted. :) I also bought a magazine that has some nice patterns in it, including a shawl and a pair of socks... and we all know how Rain loves crocheted/knitted socks. :)

Once home, I started crocheting on CornerOfMadness's Xmas gift. I must admit, I am really beginning to like it and may have to make one for myself. I also crocheted on the Halloween afghan.

Now, step back because Catarzyna and UnicoonMoon are going to faint - please help me catch them as they fall. *Ahem* I BEGAN A KNITTING PROJECT. *Thump!* *Thump!* Yes, I don't knit much because I am SO bad at it. But, like all things, it takes practice. Thus, I decided to knit a wristband to wear under my watch. So far, so good. I think I may have dropped a stitch, though... but I don't care. I'm going to make a crocheted edge on it anyway so that will hide it. I will say that I have gotten faster and my stitches are *GASP* uniform! Well, except for that one on the end that I suspect that I dropped. As I said, I can hide that. It's not a flaw, it's a design element! :D

And I watched TV, petted the cat, helped Dad fix the front door, and napped off and on. Whee.

Wow. For not really doing a whole lot, I sure filled up a lot of space.

Today, I need to go out and get some pop (I'm OUT of Mountain Dew! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!) and to hit the Goodwill for a pillow case to make into the seat cushion for the office chair. :D
