I like SUGAR!!!
This is the back of the "Octotote" with a second octopus. This one is brown. I'm really proud of how these look as the don't really resemble the pictures I printed off the internet at all. Heh. I had three or four photos I printed that I was using to look at to draw these guys. I drew them directly on the bag with Sharpies. Permanent ink. Yikes!
I spent the afternoon running errands. Gag. But, the groceries are in, my prescription was picked up and I got the cat's dope. (She's on Cosequin for her arthritis. Don't tell her I said that!) Dad fixed chili, steak fries and a salad for supper. The chili was OK but the salad was my fave. I guess I needed some greens. Yum.
Once supper was taken care of, I got catarzyna present ready. I had mistakenly left it at work the day that I came down with the flu. Oh well. It will go out in the mail tomorrow. I would have mailed it today but the postal workers were off due to the funeral for President Ford. I then cleaned the house some.
Once the chores were complete, I began fussing with the new skirt I'm working on. I'm about 1/4 to 3/8 of the way finished. It looks great though. I love crocheting. Yeah, guess what you're getting for Cmas this year! Mwa-ha-ha-ha!
Well, I have tomorrow off, so I'm going to the credit union to cash a check and to mail everything out. :-) I have a package of vintage photos from the 1900s - 1930s I'm sending to LH in WI, a package of rubber stamps for Australia and something that I can't remember for DK in MN. Ah, MN - the place I'm glad that I'm not there.
I guess I'm off to play a video game until I fall asleep.
