(no subject)
Still sound like crap. Sore throat, runny nose, nose bleeds, coughing like a carton-a-day smoker, and hacking. Whee. *Sarcasm* :P
Had a nice time yesterday. Had to run errands first. Joann Fabrics to buy snaps; Dollar General for allergy meds, throat lozenges, and video tapes. Went to Stamp-ede (http://www.stamp-ederubberstamps.com/) and hung out for a while. Met up with Barb and Lisa. Went to Ruby Tuesday's for supper. It was a nice time. Didn't get to stay for Retreat because Barb had to head back to Jersey right after dinner. I came home and worked on my scratch board instead.
Oh, and I'm on http://furry4life.ning.com now. Just a typical networking site - sort of like a MySpace but for furry. I joined the artistic group there. Maybe I'll meet some more artists. :) I should join the "Grey Muzzle" group there, too, since I am over 30. (Most of furry fandom is the 20-something set or teens.) Anyway, I was introduced to the site by CoonWulf of course. :D
The Holiday Wishes community is due to start this month. I am a member of said community so please be aware of that. I do filter out the posts from that community but I also get caught up in the moment and read a LOT of those posts. :) I also send out a lot of stuff. As most of you all know, my mom and aunt were murdered the day after Xmas in 2001 so Xmas has NOT been my favorite holiday for several years. However, after joining that community and helping others, I actually enjoy the holiday seasons. (I will admit that I still hate Xmas carols, ESPECIALLY when they are played on Dios de los Muertos, Nov. 1st. Fuck you, you commercialized bastards in the malls and stores!)
Today is study and wash the fur. :)
