I read in the soompi thread that it was because he wasn't satisfied with Molson Amphitheatre's concrete floor, since you know, he wanted to do that opening act with him moving up from under the stage.
Totally preposterous if you ask me.

.. Are you serious? That's the only reason why he cancelled it? Because he couldn't work around the fact that we don't have a large enough stage for him just to do the opening he abandons all the fans?

I'm not saying it is true, but if that is true... :|

Okay, now I'm hearing it's because Rain got threats about the Virginia Tech killing since the killer was a South Korean... I mean this explanation actually makes more sense than the previous one but I don't see what this has to do with it being dangerous in Canada.

Well, yes that would make more sense.

But he's still performing in NY and he's not performing in Canada? Plus people here in Toronto I don't think have that sour distaste as to threaten him like that because if anyone has actually even lived here in the area I live in which is where he's performing, it's one of the most multi-cultural cities in Canada. Vancouver aswell.

Plus, the asian community in Toronto is huge
Pacific Mall, the local asian mall was even advertising this show.

No, it doesn't make sense anyways. I seriously don't think he'd cancel a whole concert -defeating his definition of a 'World Tour', by the way- just because someone threatened him. I mean, the anti-fans probably threaten him all the time and you don't see him cancelling anything.

"But he's still performing in NY and he's not performing in Canada"
Exactly. I mean, hello, Virginia Tech's IN the US! Which is why I think this excuse was used to cover up an even bigger excuse. But of course, we're all still waiting for a formal statement from JYP.

You're right. It still doesn't make much sense. I know that Rain has a cocky attitude, but I didn't think he was this cocky about it if it's about how the stage isn't big enough for him to do his show. I mean for the sake of the fans here he could have atleast gave it a shot and tried. It's really annoying that this happened last minute. I rather see him then get my money back. Honestly. It does indeed defeat the purpose of the "World" too. Canada is a country and part of the WORLD. It's not just friggin' USA that you should be concerning yourself over I mean for crying out loud. :/
