Youmacon is damn well-put-together considering it's only been around for five years. Whereas so many other cons are still getting themselves straight after three times that many years. I -wish- I'd attended more panels, actually, but I was stuck in my hotel room doing some last-minute sewing. I'm such a champion at time management. But I know a little better now. If you DO decide to go for PW2.1 Nia after all, I'd be happy to try to finish my own stuff early and help out with anything I could, too. :) It looks like one could have a lot of fun with different fabrics for that dress.
Isn't it an awesome picture? As far as I can tell, they're both REALLY sweet, cool people, too. I hope Konishi gets his butt over to an East Coast con sometime in the near future. I don't see why not, since I think it'd definitely draw lots of people who might otherwise have been on the fence about going to whichever the lucky con would've been.
At any rate, I'm REALLY glad now that I didn't run over to AX -- that would've just been stupid. >_>
