i really can't believe i'm doing 12 hours every single day. Sure there are breaks in between, but i can never take a nap or lounge about like they do during break time. I rather use the time for doing something productive or walk about the city.
my schedule so far goes as so:
8:30am or 9am (depending on the time my ride arrives) - i wake up, brush teeth, pack my laptop, grab my purse and keys and rush out.
9am or 9:30am - grind new batch of coffee, do the usual check of the bar area to make sure i've got everything i need for the day. If we're running out of ingredients, gotta notify the person who does the shopping.
10am to 11am - whip up creams and make tiramisu.
11am to 11:30am - thirty minute window in which i allow myself to put on makeup, do my hair and change into my work uniform.
11:30am to 2pm - from barista to registry depending on the day and the flow of customers. We get a lot of professors, Uni students and office workers coming in for lunch at this time frame. We have to be quick and efficient since they're always in a rush.
2pm to 5pm - tea time. we take turns going on breaks. if business is slow that day, there'd be more free time of course.
5pm to 8pm - dinner time for most people. 2nd wave of rush hour. From beverages to main courses. ick.
8pm to 9pm - Everyone's full and lazy, so there isnt much work for us to do. and by this time my feet are pretty much mushed but i still got to endure a few more hours.
9pm - 10pm - cleaning up! urgh. my least favourite time of the day.
11pm or so- i'm back at the dorm. throw everything on the table, shower, wash and hang my uniform. I have two sets, so i can wear one while waiting for the other to dry.
12am - all cleaned and propped up in bed with laptop on. Do some surfing. try to catch up with peoples.
1am onwards- dead to the world.
and so the cycle continues again the next day @_@
