of all the irresponsible things....

Jun 28, 2009 23:06

i had all of these past 7 months to renew my passport. I've been back for 7 whole fucking months and not once i bothered to check my passport to see if its expired.

i now only have 13 days to get a new passport, and get visa approved. For a normal person, those first process alone will take at least 4 weeks. The only thing i can do right now is pay more to get everything Expressed.

If i were more responsible and sensible, i'd be able to save hundreds of dollars. But no, as always, i choose to book my ticket at the last minute, in the BUSIEST travel month of the year when flights are bound to be twice more expensive and less seats available.

i choose to wait till the last last minute to apply for a visa. and the last minute to find out "oh hey, my passport expired last month".

i don't even want to think about the Bally's gym bills piling in the corner. which - i have to be clear, been PAID FOR automatically with my godmother's credit card everything month. yet somehow the late bills keep coming in saying that we owe $_,___.__ amount.

Is it not fucked up that i'm paying for a whole YEAR worth membership to a gym that i havnt stepped foot in for 15 months? And according to them, my contract with Bally's does not end till next years. So basically, ill have to keep paying despite the fact that i have been and will be out of the country for most of the year.

So I think i can say its not a product of my irresponsibility that Bally's constantly sending more letters asking for more money. Although... in retrospect, what the fuck was i thinking by signing a 3-year contract with a gym that i hardly ever go to.

And here, i'm always complaining about why i can't buy the things i want to. It's quite obvious now where the moneys been running off now. Why oh why do i let myself wait till the last possible minute to get things done. Why do i keep pushing things off till i'm backed up in a corner and throw away money to save my ass.

travel, visa, fees, bills, passport, money
