I loathe children.
Loathe.
After working for only an hour, one of the little fuckers threw up in the pool. So, we had to shut down, meaning that I (and all the other guards who were only giving swim lessons today) only got half the pay they were going to get otherwise. Frustrating, especially considering that this was after one of the boys slammed his over-sized cranium into my face. I couldn't see straight for like ten minutes.
I really am beginning to dislike giving swim lessons. I am honestly quite terrible at dealing with kids on this level, and I feel like I'm wasting my time. It doesn't help that I usually get to work with a certain girl, who I'll call Cathy. For some reason, she seems to dislike me. This, naturally, is not a particularly helpful configuration.
Oh well.
I start film school next Monday, so I won't have to worry about giving swim lessons for quite a while. :D
