"Go into bussiness," my grandfather always said, "and your future will be secure.
This is what I've told myself time and again since I've entered college, but each time, I inwardly cringe and pull away from the idea evermore.
I dont care about business; money to me is either bane or inconsequence, depending on the day.
I dont care about politics, people playing with power behind curtains of formality and organization.
What I want is this:
To discover the world and capture it!
I want to dive into the soul of the world, the flows of time and place, find out how it ticks, what pushes it forward and how.
I want to know what creates a culture, to find the imprints of history and legend in the art that is the peoples of the earth.
I want to delve into each new and facinating soul I come across, understand who they are and why - that I may know truth of being, the effects of the soul.
I want to abandon material proffit in exchange for a life of discovery and creation.
I want to pull out the color each grain of sand, fallen rose petal, or the prisms of expression throughout all I see.
I want to be and to know why everything else is.
