Some old, some new...

I was looking through some old scans of things that I've done in the past. Some of them got incorporated into a recent collage. It's nice to recycle images and come up with something new.

Thank you. Somehow this color reminds me of a dress that was in the "Thornbirds" book/miniseries. The color was called "ashes of roses". I like imagining that it looked somewhat like this.

The calligraphy in the simple-page is wonderful. Is that worn-out marker-effect something you specifically wanted to make or do you just have a marker that is running out of colour, btw? :) And well, these all are beautiful, of course:)

The blue marker wasn't running out, but my black brush pen was. *LOL* I do save them for the effect though. But now I really have to buy a new one.

Heehee...thank you :D. I love colors so much lately, but I'm trying to see what I can do with less color (yikes!).

I love them all for their beauty and where they take me. But the simple one just grabs me. Wow.

I'm so surprised that people like the simple one. Thank you though, it was definitely a stretch for me. I both love and hate trying something new :).
