I normally have a really hard time waking up in the morning, but ever since that
embodiment project started, I've been bouncing out of bed looking forward to playing in my journal. After taking a hiatus from fun art for quite a while, this has been energizing for me. Now I keep little notes about futures ideas for my pages.
Here's one that started with the color pink and the picture of the tree:
"Beauty"
My page of 2006 wishes (I hate the word resolutions)
A look back at 2005
If it looks askew, it's my fault, I had to take it outside to take photos. The light is so dim inside and just horrible for shooting pictures. It was cold outside, so I had to be FAST when I took these.
There's not that much room to write, but I make do with the space that I have. Some of them are double spreads (sometimes because I squeezed out too much paint). The boy has been very patient with me when I run in periodically with bits of paper and things to show him - usually candidates to glue into a page. He's so sweet, he's taken a real interest in my art. Can't buy love like that ;). Besides, he's very honest about telling me his opinion. Most of the time, he's right...the rest of the time, he can't see which direction I'm heading with a page, but that's fine. I just keep going until I feel it's done.
