Wednesday night my brother and I went to see stand-up by Christian Finnegan, who wore a sweatervest and is completely hilarious and made fun of my brother for not playing videogames. A++++.
Last night, bloodygoodgirl, civilbloodshed, greyandgrey, tygrestick, and I saw Phantom Planet at the Metro. Openers The Morning Light are still totally adorable, though they actually wore shoes this time. Second band, The Secret Handshake, were mostly boring but they covered Skee-Lo's "I Wish" and Cher's "Believe", thereby redeeming themselves.
Phantom Planet were awesome and all wore shiny matching jackets. During "Big Brat" surprise Hush Sound came onstage to play along like they did for HCT and they are looking fantastic. We skipped out early on the Rocket Summer to go eat pizza slices the size of my head.
