That fateful day, when everything went wrong

Everyone treated us like we were the evil ones
When they were lurking in the shadows and sepreading their lies
It's a hopeless future if we continue down this very path
Life will start to look bleak for everyone now borne into this world
Life will cease to exist unless we bring some meaning into this very world
Turn back time and replay that forgotten melody that you used to play
Those were carefree days long ago, unless we change our ways
This will be a hopeless future ahead of us
Someday this dream will be released into pure hearts
Then the world will begin to turn away from this hopeless future of ours
The balance will be restored with a simple act of kindness
