I was going to wait for the weekend to post this, but after speaking with some of you guys, it seemed likely that more logistics might be involved that originally anticipated.
So, here's the deal:
The first draft of the NEW 4th edition compatible Xcrawl is ready to playtest. Duckie and I will be running the adventure, and there are 5 seats available per table. This is a Division 3 crawl, so players will start at level 1. The following books are allowed for character creation:
Player's Handbook
Player's Handbook 2
Martial Power
Arcane Power
Divine Power
Forgotten Realms Player's Guide (Drow race and Swordmage class only)
Monster Manual (Bugbear, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Kobold, and Orc races only)
Monster Manual 2 (Duergar race only)
Dragon Magazine 369 (Minotaur race only)
Stats are either point buy or array (I recommend point buy). No random rolls.
I have a .camp file for Xcrawl made for the D&D character creator that has the custom feats and race/class restrictions programmed into it. (Available on request)
If you want to play a divine character, the deity choices are from the Greek/Roman Pantheon. I have a document typed up with description, domains, and channel divinity feats. (Available on request)
You'll notice that I am allowing some monster races. Xcrawl is still typically a game of the masses though, and I'm going to say there should probably only be one "evil" humanoid player per team, if that. They are not unheard of, but they are very rare. Message me if you have a clear concept for one that you'd really like to play, and we'll figure it out.
So, that said, let the draft begin! Reply here or send me a message on AIM/Trillian (DJRailstar) and let me know. The first game is tenantively scheduled for a week from tomorrow (Friday). But the time is flexible. The venue will likely be the Gamer's Inn on Stapley and Southern. Lots of space, readily available snacks, and they are open 24 hours on the weekends.
And remember, in Xcrawl, If you die...YOU DIE!!!
