Well, almost everyone showed up, and seemed to have a good time as well. Dave, thank you for coming to pick up your meals even though you and Felicity couldn't make it. We had one lunch left over that was not claimed. I am paying for it.
In the future, please bear in mind that a reservation of this sort entails a predetermined investment by the host, in this case the owner of Toh-Zan. Not showing up to pay for the meal is bad form, and in this case cost me an extra 10 bucks I really don't have to spend right now.
So yeah, the food was excellent, even though I had to eat mine cold, Thanks Elf and Rachel for bringing it to work.
Yoshi will be having another special on New Years's eve, same format but full of more traditional dishes. I'll keep everyone posted.
