Back from California
I'm home. Two weeks in California did me good, but it's time to come back to reality...or what passes for it in my life these days. Namely, I need to figure out whether my GI Bill will extend through the summer or if I need to go find a job. =P
As for the trip, my mother is doing well. I went to the central coast wine festival with her and my step-father, drank to much and generally had a good time. I got to see a lot of my old friends, including several who are in my WoW guild now, and I spent a day at Fanime Con, renewed old contacts with their administration and got a bunch of cool info and contact stuff for AniZona (Elfling, I have goodness for vendorish type thingies.)
Other than that, I ate real sushi, played Xcrawl with my friends, sat in on possibly the worst D20 Star Wars session ever, saw Episode 3 (it was ok), watched all of Firefly (It was much better than episode 3), and finally saw Boondock Saints (...espiritu santi, amen.)
