Fixing up LJ

Sure thing! :) I don't understand why they felt it necessary to take away the subject lines (the reason given was that very few people use them... not sure how it was hurting those who didn't :P), but it's completely screwed up some fic prompt communities, and made some larger rp threads difficult to follow. This would only "fix" those problems if everyone installed the scripts, but at least it's a step. And it does work to show subject lines back in the comment headers in old threads, instead of as bold text in the comments-- that, unto itself, is lovely. ;)

I am really liking how one of those scripts reduces the white space on the comment pages a bit, too (and you can even set the background color to very light grey instead of white-- it's subtle, but it is easier to look at).

I'm not against updating sites, but I'm tired of nonsensical/poorly-designed updates. Twitter's gone weird with its layout, too... *sigh*
