One thing that I've become obsessed with is how much the house that burned in 3x10 resembles the Locksley Manor we see on a regular basis, right down to the carving on the mantlepiece--the one that matches the carving on the tags, and (to my eyes) Baby Archer's birthmark. Until 3x10, I had always assumed that was the house Robin grew up in, but now I'm not so sure. As I recall, there was still a lot of the Gisbourne house left standing when the fire was put out--the Locksley Manor house that we're used to could easily have be renovated into the house we're used to. Which would mean Robin, in a way, stole the house from Guy before Guy stole it from Robin.
Except...except...didn't they imply in 3x10 that Locksley Manor was taken by the king from Malcolm and given to the Roger Gisbourne in recognition of his military service? I never did understand all that, and it bugged me the entire episode.
