Okay, I was reading my book (Messages from the Masters) and I stumbled upon some interesting information.
In 1633 Galileo was excommunicated from the Catholic Church because of his belief that the Sun, not the Earth, was the center of the Solar system (the mainstream idea then was that God's perfect creation was the center of everything) But it wasn't until November of 1992 that the church exonerated Galileo for his heritical idea.
Wow! It took the Catholic Church that 359 years to let poor Galileo off the hook??!!
