Derp, I'm about the same, both with LJ visitation and aching to draw while not really accomplishing much. XD The last little while has actually been semi-productive, all thanks to the teaching assistants at my university being on strike (augh!), but there are always distractions. Distractions, everywhere I look! A POX UPON THEM.
Meanwhiles, I shake my fist at the fates for keeping you from your glorious destiny in the visual arts, but I suppose there's no rush on that. I have seen the pretties, and they shall be known to the world in good time! Still, I will scan doodles and whatnot this week in protest of the delay, harhar. Hilariously enough, you may end up seeing more story notes than finished(-looking) art; a weird development in sketchbooks of the recent past shows that fragments of prose have been moving closer and closer to lineart. I used to be so anal about keeping these things separate, but it seems they have other plans. Perhaps someday soon they will fuse and DOUBLE THEIR POWER LEVEL, TAKE COVER.
Also, this: "then looked for info on Sir Dead Pool only to realize I had rambled off dead poo instead." ♥ SDFFS, HOW I TREASURE YOUR PRESENCE, I CAN'T PUT IT INTO WORDS. Incidentally, I must recommend Deadpool to any and all (and you!) as the greatest man ever to snark his way through a comic book. I'm just sayin'. :DDD Mmmm, delicious brains. ♥
