Hssss, my entry for imaginarybeasts is due in less than a week. I am excite, truly excite, to finish this story and submit it, but I'm kind of looking at the structure right now, and going. Really? Is that. Is that actually working? I guess it works. That is, uh, the way my idea was supposed to play out, so. There.... it is.

I just don't like writing reveals. At all. They always feel clumsy, preachy or tacked-on when I write them. In this case, it's feeling tacked-on and preachy, but I feel like trying to revise it will just complete the triumverate and make it horrifically clumsy. A possible solution would be to go through the whole story and make sure that there are a few hints lying around and the end doesn't just come out of nowhere like HEY GUYS WHAT'S UP THE THEME IS STILL 'PORNOGRAPHY' RIGHT? (The theme for this round is 'sci-fi', PS.)

Orrrrrr I could just get over it! Also a solution.

The thing still needs a general edit anyway, so I may yet come to terms with stuff. And then I will post it here! And we shall all laugh heartily in time for the end credits~

war vision, writinginging, oh shit here come the end credits
