Oh maaaan, the first time I watched it, I "was just going to check to make sure that the subtitles synced up". LMAO. By the time I remembered that, I was an hour and a half into the movie. XD I think I need to blab about it, sdkfs.
Aaargh, it'll be no big deal and I should probably go for a physical soon anyway; but I'm just such a brat about this kind of thing! >[ Wish I wasn't, haha. I finally conned myself into it by thinking, you know, better to catch things early, don't want family/friends worrying, lucky to have health care, take care of the body for everything it does for meeee. But yeah, my tendency is to be a lot more ... private? Self-contained? Not sure. Also, two relatives have had really bad experiences in the last year with doctors advising changes to their meds; later, it kind of came out that, in at least one case, the change was made just because the manufacturer trying to push a cheaper-to-produce synthetic substitute. I don't know the whole story there. It's pretty much unrelated to me, since we're talking about anti-psychotics in that example, but yeah. Faith destroyed! Unnecessary paranoia! Ffff.
Ooh, on different note, I saw in your Facebook status that you're grappling with a paper on indigeneity and I want to wish you good luuuuck~! I'm in a really great contemporary archaeology course; lots of discussion of the moral issues and general imbalance of power created by proposing a scientist-specimen binary. Really interesting, but AAAA THIS FINAL PAPER. It is my own fault for picking the topic that I did; I'm using the Olympic opening ceremonies as a case study, so there aren't many direct academic resources yet. I may have to try convincing the prof to let me use blog comments as a sort of additional resource, ffff. But anyway, I've only got to do 8-10 pages, so I hope things pan out for you sooooooon!
