today was pretty epic. i went to lunch with Crystal a girl i was best friends with in middle school. Our moms went to high school together. i haven't seen her since 7th grade and we reconnected via facebook. but she has two daughters(3,2) and she's pregnant with her third girl. we took her two girls, hannah and nevaeh, and vegas to get mexican and then went to the park. after the park we came back to the house and just hung out for about an hour before she had to leave. i couldn't get over how well behaved her kids were. how at 3 and 2 years of age they were so polite and didn't make a mess at the restaurant, didn't complain or fuss once. then at the park they were even more well behaved and polite and didnt even get fussy when they got tired or thirsty. then back at the house they didn't mess up and they even helped clean up the toys without being asked. HER TWO YEAR OLD IS POTTY TRAINED! i was just shocked and in aw. i really need to take tips from this girl for reals.

but i was also really proud of Vegas too. this is his first time being around little girls haha. then when we got to the park he held my hand while we walked and listened to me and played with her two little girls and he went down the slide by himself. and then when we got home he was so happy to have friends over. it was great to hear him laugh at the girls and play with them. i really enjoyed our play date today.

i know they say girls are easier than boys and blah blah blah but i really don't believe any of that. i think it's all up to the parent and their teaching methods. i think it's all in how much time you spend with your children and how you spend that time that you are with them and making sure you are consistant. i've even noticed little things in Vegas that if i'm not consistant with him he won't listen. and having my grandmother and my mom watch him on different days and have their own methods with him does make it harder. but as long as i'm responsible for my actions and my teachings with him the hours that i have him, i think everything will work out.

i know he had as much fun as i did today and i'm glad we got out of the house. tomorrow we have another busy busy busy day. we have an early appt in the morning, then lunch with gracie, movies with frank, then dinner and tv time with ryan. OMG VAMPIRE DIARIES!!! gosh i love tv.
