Now, commentary:
Saw Star Wars, Episode III. (For those who haven't seen it, don't worry. I'm sufficiently vague here that nothing gets spoiled.) The first two hours were so incredibly dull I found myself wishing I'd brought a book along. It's just like Troy, where I ask the question: How on earth could a movie be so badly done that even the gory, fast-paced, action-packed fight scenes are dull and uninteresting? Sad.
The dialogue had me squirming in my seat with dread and embarrassment.
The characters all seemed to have been replaced with their idiot doubles. Almost nobody in this movie acted intelligently, rationally, or shrewdly. Or in character. Sad.
The last half hour kicked ass, though. Finally! I sat through hours of unbearably dull acting and plotting for this, the last half hour of Episode III. Sad, sad, sad.
Okay, that's enough. I don't have anything to say about anything that hasn't already been said by someone else, so I'm just going to hush up. Yay! =0)
