Brain Vacation

Oct 19, 2009 22:16

Time for joyous update. Since I don't want to catch up on homework quite yet.

Yesterday = AIDS Walk. Three hours of sun and fun. Less painful than expected. Inspiring and such. Three million dollars raised!

Now onto more important stuff. I must get this down before my human brain causes these memories and feelings to fade.
Won tickets to see Monsters of Folk at the Greek Theatre (Which were worth about fifty dollars).
Went with Jasmine. Like always. Goofed off in Griffith Park before the show. Walked up and down the tree-warped concrete sidewalks admiring large houses.

During the show... I lack words to really describe it. Or I would need to use so many words that the actual meaning would be lost. It was crazy to begin with. I don't know how to put that we were so lucky that this happened at all. Seeing two shows within such a short amount of time. Conor, no less. Though during the show Jim/Yim shined the most. I loved everything about it though. Most of everything. Don't want to bother getting into nitty gritty details of small things that don't make a difference, just cold, some annoying people, not much else.
POINT. Greek Theatre is pretty. Music is good. Whitney is happy.
...forget typing about the rest of this. I need to go listen to music. Right now. And do my homework.

Shortened version: Knees hurt. Yesterday was fucking brilliant. Avoiding homework. Miss someone.
