Even when they are just small things or things that don't matter much in the scheme of a day, these things make me happy on my birthday♥
I woke up this morning, and didn't go back to sleep. I thought about it, but I wanted to go to work for once. I'm glad I went, because even if it isn't always fun, at the end of the day I can stretch and think, "Ah! Today we are very adult for not giving in to the blanket monsters." And it does not strike me until later that now I am an adult with no excuses.
And sometimes, although I know my work is not that big of a deal in the grand scene of the word, I feel very accomplished for sitting and putting in 8 hours at a job I do well, and constantly adapt to.
I'm also happy because I remembered to take my breakfast and lunch today♥
I was happy that no one announced my birthday at work; I hate having those awkward company moments when people don't really care but act as if they do for the sake of politeness. I'm business acquaintances with most people at work, and not having to deal with the water cooler talk was nice~ Me friendlies at work we nice and the hostiles were away, and for Rai, sometimes that's all I want out of work♥
Ninja text messages and phone calls from friends make me so happy~~
ZOMG A-san got me a Starscream for my birthday~!~!~! Now we will have epic Starscream x Blackout battles as Near~~
The roomies and I went to Kino's, then ate at Cheesecake Factory. It makes me happy when I don't expect to see a new volume of a book in for months, and it's miraculously there♥♥♥ Or when the waitress is especially nice to you because you've turned 21(Even though she thought you were 12 and with your parents -_-;), and the chef writes Happy Birthday on your tiramisu~~
And then to come home to find internet friends saying happy birthday too??
