My brother sent me a German song from the 80s and man, I'm hooked! All I can think of is red balloons and how I want 99 of them. Aside from that, things are doing okay. Today I played 'hoops' (the term basketball is so blase) with a couple of swell fellows. I think I am losing my mojo a bit since I can't hit my shots all the time. I've become way more streaky as of late with the distance shot and find myself not drawing iron. Very disappointing. On the other hand, like my idol (innocent) Kobe Bryant, I have been able to make more plays happen via good passes and hitting the open man.
After 2 hours of basketball at Dale Page, I went back home to find that my parents had someone over, a family friend that we don't meet very often. For those of you who know what I look like after playing, you can imagine my horror (for those of you who don't, basically I looked as if I got dunked into the Pacific). I ignored the pleasantries and mumbled a quick hello before scurying off to my chambers (anyone who calls it a bedroom henceforth shall recieve a painful death!) to hide my glistening and dripping body (too much imagery?). Anyway, after a quick (yeah, right) shower, I got out to find our guest had gone. That was that.
After that, I went out with my parents to sears and mervyns because (a) I didn't really have anything much better to do and (b) they made me. After walking around the large stores getting bored while my parents did something (we got a new washer recently, something to do with that I think) or another, we went searching for a restaurant. After eating I came home and Varunio (my scamp of a brother) soon followed, driving from Santa Barbara on his own for the first time (aren't you proud-- I was!).
We (me and the bro) watched the television for a bit and then wham bam thank you ma'am, here I am!
BTW: Watch Dodgeball, if you have something slightly resembling a sense of humor!
