Thinkings...
Deployment is deffinitely in my future, but as it turns out it probably won't be until next year...
Of course, this being the Army I've come to know and love *hack*, this could change any day. Knowing this far in advance is very unusual, usually they get like two weeks notice. "Guess what? You're going to Iraq! Suprise, pack your bag."
I joined a military girlfriend's message board, and I love it there already. wow, people who know exactly what I'm talking about... it's nice. But talking to all of those girls who haven't seen their man in 5... 8... 12 months... haven't even heard their voice in 7 weeks... Ack, I'm going to have to do that.
I'm still very proud of him. But man, is that going to suck.
