I suppose you want an update....

Well, I have no interest in recapping the funeral and events surrounding from last week. Just that it was very emotional, 21 guns and all. I think I learned a little about myself and dealing with these sort of things in the process. Which is good. However I wish I could deal better, which is bad.

In the later days of the week I had PFD training on Wednesday. That was the first in the "Leadership Academy" trainings, which are optional. The focus is various aspects of being an officer in the fire service and is required to become on in Plymouth. The guest speaker was Chief Gasaway from Roseville Fire. Cool guy, very inspirational.

Thursday was one of the three or four in-classroom portions of my on-line Haz-Mat class. It's so simple it hurts. I wish I could finish it faster or just test out of it.

Friday night was a long night of beer. Saturday was the PFD banquet followed by getting Blake to work on MLFD Tanker 11 for me. Sunday was more or less the same. Baker, Riley, Blake and I got some mad wiring done.

Now in current events, I'm not sure what to think or do about some other shit that's come to light.
