About five years ago, a couple of people under the mistaken impression that they had a damn clue what was going on called me a racist and did so anonymously, so that I could never inform them of the facts of the situation.

This bothers the heck out of me to this day. For the record, it was a real life situation, not an internet situation. ( Read more... )

I think that's kinda' normal...either that or I'm just as messed up as you...there are still things I did as a small child that bother me...

The fact that I still feel a wave of embarrassment and shame over the time I mistook a pet shop fo a toy shop when I was on holiday when I was, like, seven or something...that's probably not healthy, no...

And then there was the time that I thought someone else was my dad, grabbed his hand and then looked up to see a complete stranger...

...I can still feel the crushing embarrassment to this day...
