A quick note of interest while I'm supposed to be working.
Today I got to play bitchwife and save my easily-intimidated husband from the most lull-people-in-and-then-pressure-them-like-hell salespeople I've ever heard. It is slightly awkward to have to quietly ask on the side "Do you you want to go through with this, or do you want me to forbid you?" But he did want me to because he really doesn't know what to do with people who can't take no for an answer and already have his credit card when he figures out the actual price. So I did. I was a snatchy, controlling housefrau. ...And really giggly afterwards for a while.
