Weak

Speaking of creationism, Ed Brayton quotes the Texas Freedom Network as they describe the evolution of creationism as portrayed in polls of the board members of the Texas SBOE conducted by the conservative values interest group Focus on the Family. The result? Well, it reproduces after its own kind. "Teaching strengths and weaknesses" was begotten to "intelligent design" which had been begotten to *drum roll* "creationism." And all of the right-wingers on the board in support of nonsense voted for each of these. Ha!

TFN makes a prediction that the next survey will ask the question:

ACADEMIC FREEDOM: Support the right of teachers to express their personal views on scientific theories on the origins of life.

Guess who'll support that?

religion, education, science, creationism
