The promo basically opened with Dean whipping a cloth off some dude's head, and then we backtracked to Jess on the ceiling and Sam looking evil, and then we hear, "You introduced me to Jess!" and the guy tied to the chair smirks and says something about introducing her to the ceiling too.
It's probably on Youtube by now, if you want to go look.
Mystery Spot was one long kick in the nuts for Sam; I can see why Gabriel did it, in retrospect (if he'd gotten Sam to let go of his anger and accept Dean was going to die and that he didn't need vengeance for it, the last seal [Lilith] wouldn't have been broken. OF COURSE IF HE'D JUST TOLD SAM AND DEAN ABOUT THIS SHIT WHEN HE REALIZED DEAN WAS GOING TO HELL, IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED EITHER. *shakes a fist*) I have problems with Gabriel being a wuss-puss and never doing anything useful except, you know, dying, but. *hands* I actually felt bad for him this episode.
He went WAY over the line in Changing Channels with that question. "Would your parents still be alive if it weren't for Sam/if Sam had never been born?" And then saying Dean got it right when he said yes? I WANTED TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE. The only reason I can semi-like him after that is because Sam didn't know what they were saying. /rage IT'S NOT SAM'S FAULT HIS MOTHER SOLD HIM, OKAY SHOW? YOU CANNOT BLAME AN INFANT FOR AN ADULT'S DECISIONS, THAT SHIT IS NOT ON.
*facepalm* YEAH, he could have just told the boys what was going on with the seals. Ugh. And God, I let out such incoherent screams of rage when they asked that line in Changing Channels...it's a good thing neither of the boys ever understood it. By the way, whenever I think of it, I cling to your "Secure the Blessing" fic as canon - that if Dean were ever given the choice, he would absolutely have Sam born, even if it meant his parents inevitable deaths. And the Apocalypse. SERIOUSLY THOUGH, not his fault for what Mary did...though I think they weren't exactly blaming him, just pointing out (to Dean, sadistically) that cause-and-effect truth.
