So..I applied for a job at the local casino recently, and I had an interview there this past thursday. It turns out they really liked me, and offered me a job as a slot attendant. This position pays 7.29 an hour, with 100-200 bucks a week in tips. Aslo, they offered me full time, with HEALTH INSURANCE after 30 days. The insurance is 49 dollars a month, but it literally has the best coverage in the entire area. The coverage is better there than at Marquette General, the largest hospital in the region. So..I took the job, I think I would be stupid not to. So today I put in my two weeks notice at border gril. Yeah. Im glad to do that, because Im getting screwed out money there. I've worked there for almost a year, and other than Amy, I think Im one of their best workers and cooks, and yet, people that I have trained and have been there half the time as me, are making more money than me. Amy, well she definatley deserves to be making more money that me. She is an awesome worker, great cook, and to be honest, my favorite person to work with there. So..yeah Im not going to miss the work at border grill...just the people. I wish them all the best of luck.
