Turns out that the reason that my posts were all getting dated the 15th was that somehow or other, that time had gotten stored as a form fill value for the Sunnydale Herald reading account in my password manager, and was getting applied to posts I made while logged in as rahirah as well. Urgh. Computers can be entirely too helpful.
