Feeling down
So I had two glasses of wine (and you have to understand, I can count on the fingers of one hand the occasions upon which I have had a second drink on the same night) and watched Doctor Who.
Usually I'm pretty meh about Chibnall episodes, but I think he hit it out of the park on this one. I was so, so, SO happy to see UNIT de-Torchwoodized; I hated what RTD did to it. And I loved Doctor Stewart and hope she becomes a recurring character. She's a worthy successor to the Brig, and the shout-out to the old days with UNIT actually had me sniffling a bit.
I really, really hope that Rory and Amy get to retire from their adventuring life with honors, rather than getting killed off to provide Eleven with more manpain.
