And so it goes

Thanks to everyone who left their kind words and thoughts about Cuervo. We've always known that, being FIV+, we probably wouldn't have him with us as long as the other cats, but he had quite a few happy years with us that he wouldn't have gotten had I turned him in to a shelter when we found him. He was a sweetheart of a cat, and he'll be missed, but it was time to say goodbye.

I didn't sleep very well last night, knowing what I'd probably be doing today, and I'm exhausted. I took the day off, and a good thing, too, because even if I'd been able to get Cuervo to the vet first thing in the morning, instead of after noon, I think I'd have been too tired and sad to get much work done. As it is, I'm hoping I can get out reasonably early tomorrow, and then just collapse for awhile. I'm now doubly glad I took Monday and Tuesday off.

The flowers I planted last weekend are all blooming, and a lot of the seeds are coming up already. I've finished all of my Seasonal Spuffy story except for the very last paragraph, which I'm still wrestling with. And Saturday morning I've got the MSABC Walk (You can donate HERE if you are so inclined - actual working link this time!)

So life goes on.
