So has anyone ever tried growing spider plants from seed? I've never known spider plants to propagate save by runners, but the one on my desk at work has little white flowers on its runners, which eventually set into seed pods. I can offer no thoughts on the spider plants. I'm the Grim Reaper of all indoor green growing things. I just destroyed an oregano plant I'd been nursing from a seedling since June. It survived a major hail storm, massive winds, and driving rain outside; I re-pot it to keep it "safe" indoors, and it dies (read: I kill it) within two weeks. *sigh*
