My worstest memories of DC was anything to do with an elevator. It seemed like half the con was spent waiting on one.
When you step into the elevator, simply press the close door button and press the floor button you wish to go to at the same time. This puts the elevator in express mode and bypasses all other floors depositing you where you need to go.
